How Voltora works

Everything a robot does with your ETH, what it costs, and what can go wrong.

Overview

Voltora is a set of trading robots for one token: the official Voltora token on Robinhood Chain. You choose a robot and pay for it in ETH. The robot buys the token, holds it, and sells it when its profit target is reached or after seven days, whichever comes first. The sale proceeds come back to your wallet in ETH.

Every robot is a separate position recorded onchain by the robot contract. Robots are not NFTs, earn no rewards, and do not share a pool.

How a robot trades

  1. You deploy it. Your wallet sends the robot's exact ETH amount to the robot contract. The contract buys the token in the same transaction and records the position: owner, tier, tokens bought and start time.
  2. The clock starts. The seven-day countdown starts when that purchase is confirmed.
  3. The keeper watches. An automated keeper reads every open robot's live sell quote, after all fees, every few minutes.
  4. It sells. When a robot's quote reaches its target, or its seven days are up, the keeper asks the contract to sell that robot's tokens. The contract sends the ETH to the robot's owner.

A target sale can be triggered by anyone, and a deadline sale by anyone after a one-day head start for you and the keeper (see when a robot sells). The contract itself checks that the target or deadline has been reached and how much ETH the sale must return.

Daily report. Under My fleet, every robot shows its result for each of its seven days and a chart of its value over time. Readings come from the robot's own sell quote on the contract, after all fees, and are saved about once an hour; each day's cell shows the last reading of that day, and "Today" shows the live value. A reading can be missing if the chain or the keeper was unreachable; the day is then marked n/a rather than guessed.

Limits count every robot a wallet has ever deployed, including returned ones. Bigger robots need a bigger price rise to hit their target; they are not more likely to profit.

When a robot sells

Target first. The robot sells as soon as its net sell quote, after every fee, is at least its target proceeds. The sale must still return at least the target, or it waits for the next check.

Seven days first. On day seven the robot sells at the market price, even below its target or at a loss. The sale may return at most 1% less than the quote taken just before it, which limits price slippage.

Who can trigger a deadline sale. For the first 24 hours after a deadline, only you, the Voltora keeper or the contract controller can trigger it. This stops someone from pushing the price down and selling your robot into it. After that window anyone can trigger it, so a robot never waits on Voltora alone.

If the market stops. If a robot still has not sold 14 days after its deadline (for example because pons rescued the launch and the token no longer trades), you can take its tokens to your wallet from My fleet instead.

A sale that cannot complete, for example because the market is moving or the network is congested, is retried on the next check. Selling one robot never touches your other robots.

Where trades happen

The official token launches on pons v2, so robots trade wherever pons trades it:

  • Bonding curve. Until the curve sells out, robots buy from and sell to the curve, at the price its formula sets.
  • Graduation. When the curve sells out, pons moves its ETH and reserved tokens into a Uniswap v4 pool. If a robot's purchase is the one that finishes the curve, the leftover ETH buys from the new pool in the same transaction. If graduation stalls, Voltora's keeper finishes it.
  • Uniswap v4 pool. After graduation, robots trade directly in the pool pons created. Robots bought on the curve sell in the pool.

Sales pause briefly while the curve is handing over to the pool. A robot whose deadline falls in that moment sells right after.

Costs

  • Trading fees. The pons trading fee and the token's creator tax apply to every robot buy and sale. They are already included in every quote and target check. See token fees.
  • Price impact. Larger robots move the price more on entry and exit. Also included in quotes.
  • Network gas. Your wallet pays the gas to deploy a robot and to withdraw claimable ETH. Gas for sales is paid by the keeper.
  • No Voltora fee. The robot contracts take nothing for Voltora.

Wallet and sign-in

Connect wallet opens a Privy window. You can connect an EVM wallet you already use, such as MetaMask, Bitget Wallet or Rabby, or sign in with your email to get a wallet created for you by Privy. Either way, the wallet is yours: Voltora never sees your keys. Robots run on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663), so the wallet needs ETH on that network.

Voltora then asks you to sign a short message to prove the wallet is yours. Signing is free, sends no transaction and grants no token approval. It lets Voltora show your robots and prepare your transactions.

Every robot purchase and withdrawal is a normal transaction you review and confirm in your wallet.

Claimable ETH

Sale proceeds are sent to the robot's owner automatically. If the owner's wallet refuses the payment (some smart-contract wallets do), the ETH stays in the robot contract under that wallet's name. It appears in My fleet as claimable ETH, and only that wallet can withdraw it.

Launch checks

Robots can be deployed only when all four checks on the Hangar pass:

  • Official token: the token is live on pons and bound to the robot contracts.
  • Market: the curve or pool can be traded right now.
  • Robot contract: the deployed contracts match the reviewed code exactly.
  • Exit keeper: the keeper has reported a check in the last 15 minutes.

Even then, purchases stay closed until the owner switches them on. The owner can pause new purchases at any time, but can never block sales or withdrawals.

Contracts

Robinhood Chain, chain ID 4663. Both contracts are immutable: no upgrade, no admin withdrawal, no fee switch.

Source code is public. Both Voltora contracts are verified with an exact match on Sourcify, so anyone can read the code that is running and check it against the rules on this page: robot contract source, pons route source. The contracts have had an internal security review but no independent audit.

The route was tested against real pons launches and the real Uniswap v4 pool on a copy of mainnet, including a graduation in the middle of a robot's life.

Risks

  • You can lose your ETH. The token's price can fall, and a robot on day seven sells at whatever the market pays.
  • Targets are not promises. Most robots may never reach their target.
  • Sales can be delayed. Network congestion, an unavailable keeper or a stalled graduation can delay a sale past its target or deadline, and the price can move meanwhile.
  • Third-party code. Robots rely on pons and Uniswap v4. pons v2 describes itself as unaudited until its reports are published. The Voltora contracts have not had an external audit either.
  • Front-running. Public market trades, including robot sales, can be traded around by others within the slippage limit.

FAQ

Can I sell my robot early?

No. A robot sells only at its target or after seven days. That rule is what makes it a strategy rather than a manual trade.

What happens if I deploy two Scouts?

You get two independent robots, each with its own entry price, tokens and seven-day clock.

Do I need to stay online?

No. The keeper sells for you and the ETH arrives in your wallet.

Why can't I deploy a robot right now?

The Hangar shows which launch check is not passing. Before the official token launches, every robot shows "Opens at launch".

What if Voltora disappears?

Your robots keep working onchain. Anyone can trigger a due sale a day after its deadline, you can trigger your own at any time once it is due, and after 14 more days you can take the tokens yourself.

Are robots NFTs?

No. A robot is a record in the robot contract linked to your wallet. It cannot be transferred or sold.
